Introduction

Do you know basic computing concepts and techniques? Are you thinking of taking an IT Training "core computing skills" course, but you aren't sure if you need to? Maybe you already know this basic material?

Take a self-assessment! These simple tools can help you determine whether you already know the subject matter of our introductory courses -- or whether instead you might benefit from taking a course. (These tools can also be useful to help groups define their overall training needs.)

Each self-assessment tool is for your own benefit -- the information is seen only by you. (In fact, although the tools look like web forms, they are designed to be printed out and filled out by hand.)
